He is preceded in death by granddaughter Caroline George, and is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Carole, and daughters Carole (and Michael) George, Deborah (and Mark) Murphy, Stephanie (and James) Long and grandchildren Justin George, and Christina and Natalie Murphy. Also sisters- and brothers-in-law, Millie and Tom Fleischer, Marti Jessen, Judy and Fred Michael and Cathy and Bob Gadlage.
A Mass of Remembrance will be held at 2 p.m. on December 19 at St. Rita Catholic Church, 12521 Inwood Rd., Dallas. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Catholic Foundation, 12222 Merit Dr., Ste. 850, Dallas, TX 75251 in Jay’s memory.
