Our brave and beautiful girl, Kaycee Reese Cooper, passed away on May 21, 2025, at the age of 3. Though her time here was heartbreakingly short, Kaycee’s impact was profound. She was a light in our lives, a source of pure joy, and an example of strength beyond her years. The love she gave will stay with us forever.
Born too early and with special needs, Kaycee was too eager to enter this world with a bang and faced more challenges in her three years than most do in a lifetime—but she met each one with quiet courage and a spirit that refused to be dimmed. Every milestone she reached was a victory, and every smile she shared was a gift. Kaycee taught us what it truly means to persevere, to love unconditionally, and to celebrate every small but beautiful moment.
Kaycee’s favorite things were the simplest and sweetest—she loved kisses, tickles that made her giggle uncontrollably, snuggles, watching her favorite shows, and listening to music. Her laugh could melt the heaviest heart, and her presence brought comfort and happiness to everyone who knew her.
Kaycee is forever loved and missed by her parents, Kiona and Christopher, her Mimi, grandparents, great grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, therapists, caregivers, and many dear family friends who walked this journey alongside her and who all fought so hard to give her everything she needed to succeed. She was our miracle girl, our warrior, and our heart.
Though our arms are empty, our hearts are full of the love Kaycee gave us. We will carry her with us always. Your mama and daddy are so proud of you. "Good job, big girl, good job."
