

SMSGT Michael Manley was peacefully delivered from his long battle with pancreatic cancer on February 1, 2014. Born in Bryan OH, Mike moved to Lubbock TX, then to Fort Worth with his parents and two brothers. After a brief residence in Midwest City OK, he, his wife and daughters resided in Dallas most of his life. Upon leaving Fort Worth Polytechnic High, he joined the US Air Force and served in Saudi Arabia, Turkey and Afghanistan as well as the US. A retired First Sergeant with the 457th Fighter Squadron at Carswell AFB/NASJRB Fort Worth, Mike was a logistics engineer/manager for Texas Instruments, King Khalid International Airport, and ATA & Champion Airlines. He earned a BBA in Marketing from University of Central Oklahoma. Mike was a man of strong faith, Ordained Elder in the PCUSA, and was active in church throughout his life. He is remembered with love by his wife of 45 years, Rosemary; daughter Kristin Crocker and her husband David; daughter Katherine Falls and her husband Travis; brother James Manley and his wife Pam; brother Kenneth Manley and his wife Virginia; his extended family; and his many friends. Donations in his memory may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project and the Snowball Express. Visitation will be Tues. 4-8 PM at Sparkman Greenville Funeral Home. Services will be Wed. 11 AM at The Episcopal Church of the Transfiguration in Dallas, followed by graveside service at the DFW National Cemetery in Grand Prairie Thurs. at 11 AM.
