Mildred Florence Deckler. Born September 3, 1915 in Chicago, Illinois, passed away June 26, 2012 in Plano, Texas. Mildred is preceded in death by husband, Earl Deckler; daughter, Barbara Deckler; parents, George and Meta Gasser; sisters, Mae Plinske, Edna Schaeffer, and Lorraine Gasser; son-in-law, Joseph Semmer; grandson, Jeffrey Semmer. Survivors include: daughter, Carole Semmer; grandson, Michael Semmer; granddaughter, Dawn Schraeder; two great-grandchildren, Samantha and Michael. Mildred loved animals and her garden. She will be dearly missed. The family will receive friends, Friday, June 29, 2012, from 6:00 until 7:30 pm, Sparkman Funeral Home in Richardson. Graveside services will be held, 2:00 PM, Monday, July 2, 2012, Irving Park Cemetery, Chicago, Illinois. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Operation Kindness, 3201 Earhart Drive, Carrollton, TX 75006.
