

Ronald was born February 1, 1942 in Dallas, Texas to Carl Bohannon Sr. and Faye Marie Palmer Bohannon, who were well know and instrumental in the lives of many children through their work with the Bohannon Day Care Facility. He graduated from Sunset High School in Dallas, Texas, and attended East Texas State University. He was a Matco Distributor and an accomplished salesman who won many awards. His greatest passion in life was coaching his daughters in basketball and softball. Ronnie was a loving husband, devoted father, and proud grandfather.
Mr. Bohannon was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Joan Bohannon of Plano; four daughters, Mistie Stacks and her husband Jess, Lori Goller, Marcie Ryan and her husband Michael Ryan,Ill, and Tracie Junior; four grandsons, Michael Ryan, IV, Bo Ryan, Sean Mankin and Ian Mankin; four granddaughters, Nicki Junior, Summer Junior, Heather Goller and Toni Case; and by his brother Carl Lee Bohannon Jr. of Houston, Texas. He will be greatly missed by all.
Ronnie was an avid supporter in word and deed of David and Zoe Golden Missionaries. Those who desire to continue such support in his memory are encouraged to do so in lieu of flowers.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm, Sunday, March 17, 2013 at Sparkman Funeral Home, 1029 South Greenville Avenue, Richardson, Texas.
A reception will follow the service at the home of Joan Bohannon, 2732 Leameadow Drive, Plano, Texas.
