Sofia Chiocca Perry

Sofia Chiocca Perry, beloved wife, daughter, granddaughter, sister, aunt, niece, cousin, and friend, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family at the age of 30 on Tuesday, February 4th, 2025. Sofia was beautiful inside and out and spread love to everyone around her. Her kind heart, warmth, and compassion had a lasting effect on all who knew her.

Sofia was born on January 27th, 1995, in Plano, TX, to Michael and Jamie Chiocca and later became Isabella's adoring big sister. She graduated from J.J. Pearce High School in 2013 and Texas Tech University with a BBA in Marketing in 2017. While attending Texas Tech she was a member of Tri Delta sorority. Sofia married her high school sweetheart, Max, on March 13th, 2021. They lived in Richardson and were surrounded by family, which was one of her greatest joys. She worked at Pourri as a Senior Marketing Manager for the past seven years. Sofia enjoyed spending time with her loved ones, many friends, and her cherished dog, Samson. In everything she did, Sofia made a point of making others feel valued and cared for. She will be deeply missed.

Sofia is survived by her adoring husband, Max Perry; her parents, Michael and Jamie Chiocca; her younger sister, Isabella Chiocca; her in-laws, John and Melissa Perry; her sister-in-law Brittney Anderson and husband William Anderson; her grandmothers, Marvel Reese and Edith Chiocca; and many loving uncles, aunts, cousins, nephews, and niece.

Sofia is preceded in death by her grandfathers; Epimenio Chiocca, David Lee Vaught, Robert J. Link, and Jay Reese.

A visitation will be held in First United Methodist Church Richardson at 503 N Central Expressway, Richardson, TX, 75080, on the evening of February 14th from 5 pm to 8 pm. The funeral service will be held at 11 am, Saturday, February 15th in First United Methodist Church Richardson. Following the service, Sofia will be laid to rest in a private committal service in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
