A funeral service will be held at 2:00PM, Saturday, October 8, 2011 at Johnson Funeral Home, Richlands with Rev. Louise Wood and Rev. David Jarman officiating. Burial will follow at Futrell Family Cemetery.
Mr. Futrell loved Nascar, NHRA, and the UNC Tarheels.
He is survived by his wife, Everleene Futrell of the home. Four daughters, Debra Futrell Harris, Donna Futrell Leffler, Frances Futrell Whaley all of Richlands and Dianne Holmes Canuette of Albertson. One brother, Marvin Futrell of Greensboro. One sister, Margaret Vroman of Richlands. 10 Granchildren and 10 Great Grandchildren.
The family will receive friends 7:00PM-9:00PM, Friday, October 7, 2011 at the funeral home, Richlands.
