
Her funeral will be 7:00 PM Wednesday, November 26, 2014, in the CHAPEL OF DIAL-MURRAY FUNERAL HOME, MONCKS CORNER. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:30 PM until the hour of service Wednesday. A visitation will be held on Friday, November 28, 2014, at Johnson Funeral Home, 210 E. Hargett St., Richlands, NC, from 7:00 until 9:00 PM. Interment will follow at 12:00 PM Saturday, November 29, 2014, in the Beddard Family Cemetery, Richlands, NC. Flowers will be accepted and are requested to be sent to Johnson Funeral Home or memorials may be made to the Victory Baptist Church, 1126 Mail Route Rd., Bonneau, SC 29431.
Mrs. Perdue was born September 11, 1950, in Richlands, NC, a daughter of Charles Branch and Magnolia Beddard Branch. She attended Victory Baptist Church and was a member of the First Baptist Church, Bonneau. Mrs. Perdue enjoyed crocheting, gardening, canning, and spending time with her grandchildren. She was the former president of the union at the Charleston Naval Hospital, formerly worked with the Acteens Girls Group at Providence Baptist Church, and hosted numerous exchange students throughout the years. Mrs. Perdue was the widow of Douglas Ray Perdue.
Surviving are, three sons, Tom G. Perdue of Bonneau, Micah G. Perdue of Summerville, and Carl P. Perdue of Moncks Corner; two sisters, Debbie Gorman of Moncks Corner and Joyce Branch-Ramirez of Ladson; a brother, Ralph Branch of Ladson; thirteen grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
