Evelyn loved and enjoyed her family. She always looked forward to family functions. She adored her children and grandchildren. Evelyn was also a die-hard RAIDER fan!
Evelyn’s mother, father, brothers: (David, Karl & Douglas) and sister, Vernetta preceded her in death.
She leaves to cherish her son Anthony P. Kane, Jr. (Shvon) and daughter, Cleopatra G. Kane-Harris (Jason Sr.); a sister: Linda J. Edgar (Reno, NV); grandchildren, nieces, grand-nieces, nephews, grand-nephews, cousins, and close friends that were dear to her heart.
Psalms 23 | The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.
We kindly ask for friends of Ms. Edgar-Kane to consider leaving a message of condolence, upload a photo, place a floral order, or light a virtual candle here on our website for her family to cherish in the days to come.

“The Broken Chain”
We little knew that evening that God was going to call your name,
In life we loved you dearly; in death we do the same
It broke our hearts to lose you, you did not go alone.
For part of us went with you, the day God called you home
You left us peaceful memories, your love is still our guide,
And though we cannot see you, you are always at our side
Our family chain is broken, and nothing seems the same,
But as God call us one by one, the chain will link again.
