Ms. Amarilis Paulk, age 66 of Glen Allen passted away on Sunday, March 10 2024. Born in Manhattan, NY, she was one of 3 children born to the late Jose Alejandro Arroyo, Sr. and Maria Arroyo. She grew up in Yonkers where she graduated from Commerce High School. Afterwards, she joined the United States Army attaining the Rank of Specialist Five and serving at posts including Ft. Liberty (Bragg), NC and Fort Clayton in the Panama Canal Zone. Afterwards, she worked at the Virginia Association of Realtors for 34 and a half years to become the Education Director and mentor to many colleagues. Beyond her impressive professional accomplishments and contributions to the industry, Lili was known for being a kind-hearted colleague and friend. She was pre-deceased by her sister, Sonia Garcia and survived by one son, William Stephen Paulk and one brother, Jose A. Arroyo and many beloved friends and colleagues. Lili’s Memorial Service will be held Friday, April 12th at 3:00PM at Woody Funeral Home at Parham road.
