Andrea Katherine Hagood

Andrea Katherine Hagood, age 68, peacefully departed this world on August 15, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. A native of Washington, D.C., Andrea graduated from Lancaster High School and enjoyed a fulfilling career with Southern States before retiring to spend her later years at home. Andrea was a devoted wife to Stephen Hagood for 44 years and a cherished mother to their two sons, Kyle and Garrett. She was the heart of her family, delighting in cooking for family gatherings and creating special memories. Her warmth and kindness touched everyone who knew her, and she will be deeply missed. Andrea is survived by her husband, Stephen Hagood; her sons, Kyle and Garrett Hagood; her sister, Sharon Surles; her brothers, Charles Fones and Junior Eppard (Tammy); as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. A visitation will be held on Friday, August 30, 2024, from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Henry W. Woody Inc., 1771 North Parham Road, Richmond, VA 23229, followed by a memorial service from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
