WHISNANT, Ann Marie, 39, of North Chesterfield, Va., passed away February 14, 2014. She was preceded in death by her sister, Rachel. She is survived by her daughter, Whitney Nicole Whisnant; husband, Jeffrey Scott Whisnant; parents, Rebecca Vass Newton and Leslie E. Newton; in-laws, Debbie and Steve Henry; grandparents, Alan and Virginia Massengale, Virginia Newton; uncles, Randy and Carolyn Vass, Charlie and Linda Sumrel.
Ann Marie was co-owner of D & A Housecleaning and was team mom for her daughter's cheerleading team. Her passions were her daughter, sister and animals. She never met a stranger and always wore a smile.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 20, 2014 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Parham Chapel, Woody Funeral Home, 1771 N. Parham Rd. and where a memorial service will be held Friday, February 21, at 4 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Chesterfield County Humane Society, P.O.
