

Ashley Conway was born on February 5, 1993, to Adesha Conway and Albert Thomas. She departed this life on February 18, 2026. Ashley moved through this world in her own extraordinary way. Living with developmental differences, she brought a unique light, resilience, and authenticity to every space she entered. Those who knew her understood that her strength was not defined by limitation, but by heart, determination, and joy. Ashley was a proud graduate of John Marshall High School in Richmond, Virginia. She was especially proud of her role as a mother to her beloved daughter, Jasmine Snead. Being Jasmine’s mom was one of her greatest joys and accomplishments.
Ashley had a vibrant personality and a love for life. She enjoyed karaoke, fishing, and gaming, and she dreamed of one day becoming a DJ. She was a loyal fan of the Dallas Cowboys and never hesitated to show her team spirit. A gifted athlete, Ashley was an avid Bocce Ball player and earned a gold medal representing Area 31 in the Virginia Special Olympics. Her dedication and competitive spirit were evident both on and off the court. She also participated in basketball and bowling, building friendships and memories through sports and teamwork.
Ashley will be remembered for her bright energy, her perseverance, her laughter, and the way she embraced life on her own terms. Her presence was a reminder that greatness comes in many forms and that strength is often quiet but powerful. Ashley’s life was a testament to courage, individuality, and love. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory are her daughter, Jasmine Snead; her parents, Adesha Conway and Albert Thomas; her sister, Sherry Conway; her brother, Nicholas Thomas; her child’s father, Theodore Snead and a community of family, friends, teammates, and supporters who will carry her memory forward.
