Barbara Fowlkes Copley, 87, of Cedarfield died Tuesday, December 31, 2013. She was the widow of James W. Copley; and she is survived by a daughter, Susan Grant; a son, Jay Copley (Barbara); four grandchildren, Stephanie Lansing (Hunter), Wingate Grant, Michael Copley (Christina) and Kara Copley; two great-grandchildren, Kate and Hunt Lansing.
Barbara was a longtime member of First Baptist Church.
The family will receive friends 3 to 5 p.m. Thursday at the Parham Chapel, Woody Funeral Home, 1771 N. Parham Rd. A graveside service will be held Friday in South Hill, Va. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church.
