She was 89 years old. Barbara was born on August 14, 1934, in Chesterfield, Va. She was the daughter
of Marion and Nellie House. She is survived by 2 sisters, Marion (Ted) and Patsy (Garland), and one brother, Steve (Janet). Her older sister Joyce died in 2020. She was close to her siblings all her life. During her senior year of high school Barbara met her future husband, Bill Eudailey. A year later they married and lived 60 joyful years together. They were blessed with three sons who survive her, Billy (Patsy), Brian (Bryn-Carol) and Blake (Robin).
Barbara was Grandmother to six grandchildren, Dara (Joey), Kaitlyn, Jake, Will, Brian Keith and Meredith. She also had one great-grandchild, J.C. Newberry. Her sons and grandchildren brought her greatest moments of joy. She always wanted to know what each was doing and was so proud of their endeavors. She was a constant and loving presence in their lives. Some of the family’s best memories took place at her house when everyone was together around the kitchen table eating barbeque and fudge cake and playing Uno.
Barbara is also survived by her many beloved nieces and nephews.
Barbara and Bill began Bill Eudailey and Company in 1973. The real estate company would thrive until its merger in 2019 with PenFed Realty. Barbara was Bill’s co-broker and business partner, running the day-to-day operations of the office. She and Bill were a wonderful team and shared in their success.
Barbara also had a talented eye for decorating and was instrumental in the interior design for the Ronald McDonald House in the late 1990’s. She also brought her design passion to her beautiful gardens at their home where she and Bill worked tirelessly. Barbara would certainly want us to mention her two pets, her cat Poopsie and her dog Booker. They always brought her great happiness and she spoiled them rotten. When Bill passed away in 2013, Barbara was heartbroken. She missed him so greatly that the only comfort the family has in these days and hours since her passing is that she and Bill are now together again. Funeral services will be private.
