Bessie Leona Toney Hudgins departed this life on January 28, 2017. She was the daughter of Willie Raymond Toney and Mary Alma Toney of New Canton, VA. She was predeceased by her mother and father; her husband Robert Carroll Hudgins; brothers Ed, Al, and Marion Toney as well as her sister Elsie Toney; and one daughter Linda Graham. She is survived by Dale Mitchell and her husband George; John (Butch) Hudgins and his wife Debbie; Patti Neal; and Ron (Pete) Hudgins and his wife Penny, and a brother, Robert Toney. She is also survived by 13 Grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.
Services will be held at Woody Funeral Home, 1771 Parham Rd, Richmond, VA, beginning with a viewing at 9:30 am, followed by a celebration of life at 10:30. Burial will be at Greenwood Memorial Gardens, 12609 Patterson Ave., Richmond, VA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Women on Mission, Perkins Baptist Church, Hadensville - Fife Rd, Goochland, VA.
