Beth Ann Doss

Beth Ann Doss (Bilbray) passed away on December 15, 2025 after fighting courageously with a long-term illness. She is survived by her husband of 41 years, David Lee Doss of Henrico,VA and her son Taylor Hayden Doss of Midlothian, VA, and her younger sister, Cynthia Elaine Bilbray and nephew, Tristan Jonathan Bilbray both of Arlington VA, her nieces Rachael Carrasco (Jorge) of Fort Worth, Texas and Elizabeth Ecker (Nick) of Lawton Oklahoma.

She is preceded in death by her mother Vivian Lee Maue Bilbray, sister Patty Lee Bilbray Ogburn, father Fred Richard Bilbray, paternal grandparents Fred and Grace Bilbray and maternal grandparents Charles and Mildred Maue.

Beth was born in November, 1961 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Beth grew up in Westerville, Ohio from 1966 to 1979 where she attended Walnut Springs Junior High and Westerville North and sang in the Hi-Lo choir. She is remembered for living in a close knit neighborhood - Hill Crest and belonging to the original Hill Crest crew. The Bilbray family moved to Richmond, Virginia in 1979 and she graduated from J.R. Tucker High School in 1981. She attended Ferrum College and moved to Lynchburg in 1983 where she met her husband David through College friends. Beth’s pride and joy was her son Taylor. She loved having a variety of dogs - Chow Chows, Colton-de-Tulears and Golden Retrievers. Her hobbies include researching family genealogy, all things Harry Potter and Day-time Soap Opra's.

Her friends and family are invited to a Memorial Service at Woody’s Funeral Home, 1771 N Parham road on Friday January 2nd, 2026, at 11:00am. There will be a catered reception to follow at the Funeral Home.
