Betty Layne Hazelwood

Betty Page Layne Hazelwood, 86, of Richmond, VA, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 21, 2022. She was preceded in death by her husband, Spencer T. Hazelwood, Jr.; her parents Bill and Louise Layne and daughter Lynda Hazelwood Boutchyard. She is survived by her son Ben Hazelwood (Alice), a son in law Miles Boutchyard and many friends and cousins. Betty retired from Crestar Mortgage. She enjoyed bowling, playing cards and planning events in the community Where she lived. There will be a grave side service on Tuesday, December 27, at Noon at Westhampton Memorial Park, 10000 Patterson Ave, Richmond, VA 23238. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Tuckahoe Volunteer Rescue Squad.
