KAUFMAN, Betty Baber, passed away February 3, 2017. She was preceded in death by her husband, Duwaine F. Kaufman; and her son, Mark D. Kaufman. She is survived by her daughter, Bonnie K. Legum; daughter-in-law, Diane C. Kaufman; grandchildren, Charlsey J., Matthew A., and Molly C. Kaufman, Courtney Legum Wenk (Andrew); Morgan Legum Higgs (Michael). Her first great-grandchild, Benson Michael Higgs, is expected in May. A memorial service will be held at First Presbyterian Church, 4602 Cary Street Rd., at 2 p.m. Friday, February 17, 2017. The family will receive friends immediately following the service in the church fellowship hall. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to First Presbyterian Memorial Gardens or Alzheimer's Association of Greater Richmond Chapter, 4600 Cox Rd., Suite 130, Glen Allen, Va 23060.
