Charles Dwight Bailey

He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Emma; his sister, Betty Coleman; his four children, David, Stephen, Gary and Mary; his daughter in laws, Sue and Gayle Bailey; and his son in law Patrick Tewell. Dwight was blessed with eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

In 1957, he graduated from the Medical College of Virginia’s School of Pharmacy. He was a member of the Kappa Psi Pharmaceutical Fraternity, the Rho Chi Honor Society and the Sigma Zeta Honorary Science Society.

Dwight was a dedicated, hardworking pharmacist known for his kind, generous spirit.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Diabetes Association or the American Heart Association.

Funeral services will be private.
