I miss  Charlie and think about him often....
I am sure his family does too.

I am just hearing this sad news .I was a friend of Charlie's for several years....but had no seen him for a year or so........He loved cooking and we shared dishes and recipes...... Enjoyed reading his novels and Short Stories...He loved his son......always talking about him
Wished I had known sooner.. ..Sending sympathy to the family with love.

I just learned tonight, July 11, 2021,  by searching Google that Charlie had passed.  No one told me earlier and I didn't see a newspaper obit previously.   I had noticed for several months that Charlie's car was not parked at his home, only his truck.  I even phoned him several times and only got a voice mail on his cell phone, but left a message each time that was never answered. 
Charlie was my "Best Man" at my wedding on August 15, 2015.  He was a great neighbor and friend.  I will miss him dearly.  My condolences to his son, Chuck, and to his extended family.  RIP, Charlie; you're now in heaven with your beloved Becky.   Thank you for being my "Best Man" at my wedding. 

My beloved uncle was a blessing to me and my family. We didn’t get to spend as much time as we hoped being so far apart but we made special memories nevertheless. He will always share a place in my heart and will be sorely missed. Our hearts hold a special place for loved ones gone too soon. We love you Uncle Charlie.

Charlie was a wonderful neighbor and a great person.  He has lived directly across the street from me for so many years.  We frequently chatted at our mailboxes--often for 30 minutes or more.  Charlie and I shared many viewpoints and we much enjoyed our conversations.  I was shocked at his sudden death and will miss him so much.  I send my deepest heartfelt condolences to his family and friends.

Charlie was a valued friend to all and will be greatly missed!!  

I played pool with your Dad he was a very nice gentleman we had great talks. We are members of Tuckahoe moose lodge together, 
He was always in a good mood use to joke about losing early and getting back to his recliner. He will be missed by all of us at the Moose. So sorry to hear.

Charlie and I were both station together at NRD Richmond. I would occasionally bump in to him and Becky at Lowe’s. Great guy and consummate professional. My sincere condolences and prayers to the family on the loss of your love one. “RIP Shipmate “ we have the watch.

Memorial Service

He is survived by his loving son, Charles Worthen Hall, III; and sisters, Patsy and Dottie and their respective families. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Rebecca "Becky" Hall and parents, Charles and Lillian Hall.
