Del Lee Moser

Del Lee Moser, 88, of Henrico, passed away on July 14, 2021. He was preceded in death by his wife, Doris Jones Moser; and his grandson, Phillip S. Trail. He is survived by his daughter, Sheryl M. Trail (Floyd); his grandchildren, Christopher, Courtney and Gregory; and his great-grandchildren, Ayden Griffen and Max Trail; and his friend, Joyce Hodges. Del served in the U.S. Army and earned a master's degree from the University of Florida. He taught health and physical education and was the basketball coach at a middle school in Roanoke, Virginia. Del served as a tennis pro at Roanoke Country Club. He retired from the Virginia Commonwealth Department of Education in Richmond after 27 years. He coached and taught tennis at Kanawa after his retirement. A memorial service will be held at Woody Funeral Home, 1771 N. Parham Rd., at 3 p.m. on Monday, July 26, 2021.
