

Donald Gifford Warner passed away on February 12, 2018 at the age of 90. He was kind and generous to all he met and his gentle nature was felt by many. He served as a Seaman First Class in the Navy at the end of WWII and in 1948 married his sweetheart, Mary Ann Bressler (who passed away in 2012). Don was actively involved in the Masons being Raised a Master Mason in 1951 and served as Eminent Commander in 1972. He was also active in the Eastern Star and Job’s Daughters. He was an accountant and owned a plumbing business in Vienna, VA. After retiring he lived at Lake Anna, Harrisonburg and Richmond.
He is survived by his three daughters and their families-Donna & Randy Harper, Bryan, Blair, Brady and Bailey Harper, Whitney Harper; Pam and Kevin Walsh, Ryan, Monica, and Annabelle Walsh, Shannon, Robbie, Cyrus, and Elliott Boyd; Gail and Richard Hendrick, Kyle and Liz Hendrick, Carter Hendrick and Curtis Hendrick. Don’s father, mother, and four brothers preceded him in death and his sister, Elizabeth Patterson, survived them all.
