Dorothy Mae "Dot" Leonard, 74, of Richmond and formerly of Hampton, was born on January 9, 1940 in Prince George County, and went peacefully to her Heavenly Home on March 1, 2014. She was predeceased by her husbands, John Carl Leonard and William Harold Boner; her parents, John Edgar and Katherine Neoma Gray; two brothers, Joseph Edgar Gray and Emmett Floyd Horne Jr. She is survived by one son, Edward Clay Leonard (Karen) of Oklahoma; one daughter, Doris Ann Morris (Bruce) of Richmond; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and her devoted friend, Joyce Harvell of Hampton. She was a loving mother and a kind and generous soul. The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 6, 2014 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Parham Chapel, Woody Funeral Home, 1771 N. Parham Rd., where a funeral service will be held Friday, March 7, 2014 at 1 p.m. Interment private at Arlington National Cemetery.
