Armistead, Eleanor Baker, 93, of Glen Allen, VA passed away Wednesday, January 14th, 2015. Mrs. Armistead, born near Brookneal, VA, was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Herbert Keith Armistead. She is survived by her sons, Bruce C. Armistead (Blenda) of Easton, MD, and Bevin K. Armistead (Sue) of Richmond, a daughter, Blair Armistead Smith (Ron) of Glen Allen, five grandchildren, Corrine C. Armistead, Courtney A. Mattiloi (Jamie), Callie J. Armistead, Bryce S. Winston and Brett A. Winston, and a sister-in-law, Hilda A. Carson (Don) of Lynchburg, VA.
Funeral services will be held 11:00am Monday, January 19th, 2015 at the Parham Chapel, Woody Funeral Home, 1771 N. Parham Road, Richmond.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment and a family graveside service will take place at Union Hill Baptist Church Cemetery, 12935 Red House Road, Brookneal, VA 24528 at 3pm.
