On January 24, 2013, Elizabeth Day sailed gently into God’s light, reuniting with her beloved Frederick, who predeceased her in 1987, and leaving behind a nearly 95 year legacy of peaceful living, love, and laughter for her children, who celebrate her circle of life: Patty (Mark) Terry (Midlothian, VA.); Fred (Bich) Day (Falls Church, VA); Barbara (Fred) Briger (Colchester, CT); Kathy (Dave) Lange (Annapolis, MD); Marzie (Peter) McCoy (Albany, NY); grandchildren, Minh, Megan, Amy, Alex, Christopher, and Shannon; and many great-grandchildren. Blessed with both longevity and health, our mother packed a lot of living in her years; her stories are chapters from history, too rich to include here. For those wishing to honor our mother’s life, contributions to Capital Caring Hospice of Arlington, VA (www.capitalcaring.org) would be greatly appreciated.
