WIEGAND, Frances Mary, 99, of Richmond, went to be with the Lord April 19, 2012. Frances was a US Army veteran of WWII, serving as a captain and medical department dietitian for the 239th and 240th General Hospitals. After the war, she served as head dietitian for 30 years with the Veterans Administration, working in various veterans hospitals. She was a graduate of Douglass College in Newbrunswick, N.J. She was a member of All Saints Episcopal Church and a member of the NARFE. Frances will be missed by all of those whose lives she touched. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 25, in the chapel at All Saints Episcopal Church. Burial will be private, in New Jersey.
