Gordon Kenneth Mastin

Gordon was a little quiet and shy, kind and caring. Once you got to know him you realized he also had a great sense of humor. Gordon enjoyed playing his guitar and the piano. His music of choice was bluegrass and gospel hymns. I must say, at the top of his list of favorite activities was simply driving his car.

Gordon was preceded by Willie and Estelle Mastin (Father & Mother); Joyce Messier (sister); Sue Day Mastin (wife of 12 years); Raymond Andrew (Drew) Messier IV (Great nephew); and his dear friend Bonnie Moore. Gordon is survived by his niece Linda Messier Atkinson; nephew Raymond Andrew Messier III, and many great nieces and nephews.

A visitation for Gordon will be held Wednesday, July 19, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Woody Funeral Home Parham, 1771 North Parham Road, Richmond, VA 23229. A service will occur Thursday, July 20, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Westhampton Memorial & Cremation Park, 10000 Patterson Avenue, Richmond, VA 23238.
