Grace Arline Tatum Lorente Dowdy, 97, of Richmond, VA, died Monday, July 28, 2014. She was preceded in death by her parents, Norman Cleaton Tatum and Vida Franck Tatum; her first husband of 55 years, Kenneth Edward Thomson Lorente, Sr., and her second husband of 16 years, Norman Spurr Dowdy; her daughter, Mildred Letitia (Tish), Kambourian (Jerry). She is survived by her son Ken Lorente, Jr. (Zaida); her daughter Vida L. Schottenstein; her grandchildren, Yvonne L. Cross (David Earl); Cathy, Michael, Becky and Mark Kambourian, Noah (Denise) and Reva Schollenstein; Her great grandchildren, Breanna Nicole Cross; Clara, Callum and Camilla Schottenstein.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 29, 2014 from 6:00 – 8:00pm at the Woody Funeral Home, 1771 N. Parham Rd. Richmond, VA. Graveside services will be held at Westhampton Memorial Park on Wednesday, July 30, 2014 at 2:00pm.
