Henry Thomas Beasley

Henry Thomas (Tom) Beasley, 88 of Richmond, Virginia passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 27th. He spent a short time in Hospice Care with end stage COPD after pneumonia.

Tom spent the majority of his career in sales. He had a great smile and made friends easily. He and his wife enjoyed hosting parties and he volunteered to coach his son’s football team and was active in various organizations.

He joined the Air Force at 17 years old and worked as a mechanic on airplanes. Tom loved football, especially his Dallas Cowboys.

Tom was widowed in 2007 after the loss of his wife of 52 years, Mary. He is survived by his daughters, Lori Powell (Bob) and Vicki Walker (David) as well as his son, Thomas Beasley (Robin). He has four grandchildren, Adam Bartholomew, Mike Bartley, Michelle Teves, and Chelsea Evans. Tom also has six great grandchildren: Jack and Finch Bartley, Amina and Benson Teves, and Caden and Courtlyn Evans.

The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 pm Tuesday, August 12th at Woody Funeral Home, 1771 No. Parham Road. Service will be held on Wednesday, August 13th at noon in the Mausoleum Chapel at Greenwood Memorial Gardens.
