Quency dedicated many years of her life as a Geriatric Nurse, compassionately caring for elderly patients — a calling she often spoke about with pride and love. She had a heart for service and found great joy in helping others.
Family meant everything to her. She valued togetherness, peace, and unity among her loved ones. A devoted and faithful Jehovah’s Witness, Quency spent much of her life serving Jehovah and striving to live in His favor. True to her daily routine, her final moments were spent receiving spiritual nourishment, just as she faithfully did each morning before beginning her day.
In accordance with her wishes, a private cremation ceremony for immediate family will be held at Woody Funeral Home – North Parham Road on Wednesday, February 25, 2026. A Celebration of Life and Repast will follow, with location details to be provided by the family.
The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to The Park at Ridgedale for their support during this time of loss. Special appreciation is also extended to Brother Tahjee Marshall and his wife for their compassionate care and assistance with medical appointments, and to her dear neighbor and friend, Martha, who faithfully checked in and looked after her daily.
