GEORGE, Jack, passed on to eternal glory peacefully at home on Sunday, January 13, 2019. Jack was predeceased by his wife, Margaret D. George; and parents, Levon and Mariam George; and sister, Lucy E. George. He is survived by his daughter, Jacquelyn G. Patterson; grandson, Ryan M. (Nikki) Patterson ; granddaughter Amanda B. Patterson, great grandson Riley M. Patterson,brother, Richard (Robinette); and many nieces and nephews. Jack was born in Massachusetts in 1924, but lived the majority of his life in Richmond, Virginia. He retired from Miller & Rhoads after 40 years of devoted service as buyer for the Smoke Shop. He was a huge fan of football, baseball and food, especially ice cream, but the most important thing to him was his family. Services will be held at Second Baptist Church, 9614 River Rd., Henrico, Va. 23229 on Thursday, January 17, at 12 p.m. Contributions may be made to the American Heart Association in lieu of flowers.
