Jason Dean Swoope

Jason Dean Swoope, of Richmond, passed away on Friday, January 1, 2021. He is survived by his father, Edward Swoope, Jr.(Gail); and his children, Sydney and Edward Swoope. Jason was an excellent automotive mechanic, who was named Top Gun, while working for Saturn. He enjoyed using those skills to help family and friends. One of Jason's favorite pastimes was spending time with his children and challenging them in video games. He also loved his dog Casper and took him everywhere. The family would also like to extend a very heartfelt thank you to special friends Janie Slayden and her son Carlton. They meant the world to Jason and the family is very appreciative of all the ways in which they helped Jason.
