

Jessica was a woman who cherished her family above all else. She was preceded in death by her mother, Helen Berry; her grandmother, Grandma Berry; Nanny Bell; Uncle Ricky Hertsch; Toosti Hertsch; and Cousin Tabitha Hertsch, along with other close family members and friends. She is survived by her father, Walter Berry; siblings, Angela, Lori, and Jason Berry; her beloved nieces and nephews, Maddison Berry, Nathan Legano, Maddux Berry, Stella Berry, Bianca Berry, and Jace Edwards; cousins, Regina Weeks, Nita Weeks, Tiffany, Patrick Weeks, Rick Plott, Misty Hertsch and kids; aunts, Anita Weeks, Net Berry and Cheryl Plott; "Sis" Danielle Green in whom she shared an unbreakable, deep bond with. Jessica also leaves behind numerous extended family members and countless friends who were touched by her kindness and love.
Family was the cornerstone of Jessica's life. She had a special bond with her nieces and nephews and found immense joy in spending time with them. Jessica loved bringing people together through food and laughter. Her passion for cooking was evident in the many meals she lovingly prepared for family gatherings. Whether it was a casual dinner or a festive celebration, Jessica’s kitchen was always filled with warmth and delicious aromas.
Jessica had a vibrant personality that left an impression wherever she went. Known throughout Richmond as someone who could light up any room she entered, Jessica had an incredible ability to make friends effortlessly. Even during challenging times in her own life, she never failed to check on those around her. Her compassion and selflessness were hallmarks of her character.
A proud Dallas Cowboys fan at heart, Jessica embraced life with enthusiasm. She enjoyed treating herself to manicures and pedicures—a small indulgence that brought her joy—and she took pride in maintaining connections with those she held dear. Her closest friends were like family to her, and she treasured those relationships deeply.
Jessica’s faith in the Lord was unwavering throughout her life. Her strong spiritual foundation provided comfort to both herself and those who knew her. Now at peace, Jessica has gained her wings.
Jessica will be remembered for her beautiful heart and spirit—a legacy that will live on in the memories of all who knew her. May the love she shared continue to bring comfort to those whose lives she touched so profoundly. As we all know Jess was a huge Dallas Cowboys fan. We are asking, if able that you put your pride to the side and wear Dallas Cowboys Gear during her viewing on Friday, March 27 from 5-8pm.
A Celebration of Life will be held on March 28, 2026, at 10:00 AM at Woody Funeral Home, 1771 N. Parham Road. Interment will follow at Dale Memorial Park, 10201 Newbys Bridge Road, Chesterfield VA, 23832.
