ALDERSON, Joanne Marie, 56, of Richmond, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 26, 2014. She lost her hard fought battle with cancer. She was preceded in death by her father, Richard Vadney, MD. She is survived by her husband, Tom Alderson; her mother, Rita Vadney; two step daughters, Donetta Dalton and her husband Brent; their children Evan and Lacey Dalton; and Bree Alderson; her brothers, Tom Vadney and his wife Ellen, Michael Vadney and his wife Michelle and Matthew Vadney; sisters, Karen McCray, Mary Ritz and her husband Bob and Martha Howar and her husband Sam; numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8pm Friday, October 31, 2014 at the Parham Chapel, Woody Funeral Home, 1771 N.
