The funeral will be held at 11am Friday, October 26, 2012, at Mount Vernon Baptist Church, 11220 Nuckols Rd., Glen Allen, Va. 23059 with Dr. Don Runion officiating. Burial will be in North Carolina at a later date.
Joe is married to Cora Jean Wilson Chestnutt, and was the son, of the late, Ellison Eugene Chestnutt and Floyd Honeycutt Haddock and Stuart Haddock. He retired from Johns Manville as a plant manager in 2002. He was a member of The Dominion Club, Seniors Golf Association. He was a member of Emanuel Baptist Church in Clinton, NC.
He is survived by his wife, Jean and his son, William Joseph Chestnutt and wife, Leslie, of Summerfield, NC, and two grandchildren, Taylor and Joey, and his brother Richard Eugene Chestnutt and wife, Linda Pearl of Clinton, NC, two nephews Larry and Chris.
