BROWN, John C. Jr., 93, long time Mechanicsville resident, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 31, 2015, at Henrico Health and Rehabilitation Center in Highland Springs. He was predeceased by the love of his life and wife of 60 years, Imogene Brown; and his sister, Evelyn Cain. He served many in the Richmond area driving buses for GRTC and retired from there after more than 25 years. He is survived by a daughter, Kathy Brown of Ashland; grandson, Rick Calhoun (Robin); and two great-grandsons, Alex and Zack Calhoun, all of Chesterfield. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. on Tuesday, January 5, 2016, at the Parham Chapel of Woody Funeral Home, 1771 N. Parham Rd., Richmond, with visitation one hour prior to the services. Interment Private.
