John Fortuna

John Fortuna, 73, of Glen Allen, VA, was a beloved husband, father and grandfather who passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 24, 2024 at home. He was survived in death by his loving wife of 41 years and 8 months, Karen Cote Fortuna. John leaves behind a legacy of love and warmth as he is survived by his daughter, Jennifer E. Fortuna and grandchildren, Emma and Cote Phillips; daughter, Janine M. Fortuna and grandchildren, Gia and Reagan; son, Thomas C. Fortuna (daughter-in-law, Richa) and grandchildren, John and Sophie; daughter, Katelyn A. Fortuna (son-in-law, Zane).

John had a distinguished career as a sales executive with Hewlett Packard, where he worked for over 40 years. He loved games of skill and strategy and would always play to win! He cherished spending time with family, whether it was playing Texas hold’em or cooking his famous lasagna, which was a favorite at family gatherings.

Visitation will start at 2pm, followed by a funeral service, which will be held at 3pm on Saturday, August 10, 2024 at Woody Funeral Home, 1771 N. Parham Rd., Richmond, VA.
