John Christopher Mader III

MADER, John Christopher III, 61, passed away peacefully in his home on July 27, 2013 after bravely battling prostate cancer. He is survived by his beloved wife, Linda; his two daughters, Michelle Harrison (Matt) and Julie Dorn (James); his grandchildren, Jay and Tara Harrison and Haley Dorn (due in November); his sister, Eileen Lane (Mickey); and his two nephews, Robert Ambrose and Scott Ambrose (Anna and daughter Kendall). He was a devout Catholic, a loving husband and father, and proudly served the same banking company for forty years. He had a deep love of the ocean and was blessed to enjoy a beach vacation with his dearest loved ones one week before his passing. He is remembered by all for his playfulness, generosity, and integrity. Family and friends will be received Friday, August 9, 2013 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., to include an opportunity for all to share memories at 6:30, at the Parham Chapel, Woody Funeral Home, 1771 N. Parham Rd. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, August 10, 2013 at 10 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Graveside service will be held on Sunday, August 11, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. at Parkwood Cemetery in Baltimore, MD.
