Juanita Smith Spencer

Juanita "Nita" Smith Spencer, born March 20, 1929, slipped peacefully and quietly into the arms of her Savior, Christ Jesus on January 7, 2021. Nita is predeceased by son, Randall and survived by sons David and Christopher (Julie) , grandson, Jamison (Jessica) and great granddaughter, Colette Spencer. During her career years, she was an executive secretary for various executives, a court reporter for the state of Virginia and later worked for Pat Robertson/CBN. Juanita was a devout Christian, participating in church choirs, musical productions and various church ministries. She took good care of her mother until her passing. Nita enjoyed life, was vivacious, outgoing, witty, caring, loved animals, birds, flowers, nature, loved her Bible studies, loved her family and her Lord. All services will be private, burial will take place at Mt. Vernon Memorial Park. She will be missed by her family and all who knew and loved her. "Not gone forever, just gone ahead...."
