Kathy Brown, 73, long time Mechanicsville and Ashland resident, went to be with the Lord, on January 5, 2025. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Jean Brown; and the love of her life, Mike Calhoun. She is survived by her son, Rick Calhoun (Robin); two grandsons, Alex (Hannah) and Zack (Abby); one great-granddaughter, Charlotte; and friends that became family. Kathy was retired from Dominion Power after more than 40 years of service. Kathy's passion in life was the Richmond Renegades. She supported them for home and away games and made great friends at the same time. She always talked about the possibility of hockey coming back to the Richmond area. Hockey was a bright spot in her life for many years. A private service is planned.
