Kenneth Stuart "Lefty" Snyder

Kenneth Stuart "Lefty" Snyder,84, of Richmond, passed away September 13, 2018. He was born to the late Wesley T. and Hazel Witt Snyder on February 15, 1934, in Atlanta, Ga. He was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Lillian Mathews Snyder. Kenneth was raised on Richmond's "Oregon Hill." His family and friends there meant the world to him! He graduated from John Marshall High School, Class of '52. His life's passion was the game of baseball! He was a retired bookkeeper. Kenneth is survived by three daughters, Karen Wynne (Robert), Mary Ellen Snyder and Bridget Crim (Ben); three grandchildren, Michelle Taylor (Sherrod), Nathan Matthews and Stephanie Noel; three great-grandchildren, Breanna Norris, Patrick Taylor and Jasmine Matthews. The family will receive friends from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday, September 17, at the Parham Chapel, Woody Funeral Home, 1771 N. Parham Road Richmond, Virginia 23229. Burial service will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to any charity which benefits children.
