

YEOMANS, Kenneth Lester "Ken," 84, of Richmond, passed away Wednesday, April 7, 2010. He was preceded in death by a grandson, Timothy Ryan Coulter. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Margaret L. Yeomans; his children, Jeanne Y. Faszewski and her husband, Steven, of Richmond, Robert F. Yeomans and his wife, Kathleen Slevin, of Williamsburg, Kenneth A. Yeomans of Hilton Head, S.C., and Karen C. Belcher and her husband, Troy, of Richmond; 10 grandchildren, Matthew (Samantha), Megan (William), Ryan, Conor, Sarah, Tyler, Madison, Morgan, Landen, and Jenna; two great-grandchildren, Colin and Hayley; sister, June Park and her husband, William, of Connecticut; sisters-in-law, Brenda and Carol Yeomans of Connecticut; and faithful companion, Kitsie.
Ken served in the U.S. Navy as a Gunner's Mate during WWII in the Atlantic and Pacific Theater. He retired as a Regional Sales Representative of Beverage Air Inc. He was a member of Metropolitan Masonic Lodge No. 11 AF & AM, Richmond Scottish Rite Bodies, ACCA Shrine Motor Patrol, Manchester Shrine Club, Charter Member of Goldwing Riders Chapter D, Past Commander Dilworth-Cornell-Quey Post No. 102, American Legion Manchester, Conn., USN Armed Guard Merchant Marine Veterans Chapter.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, April 10, 2010 at the Parham Chapel, Woody Funeral Home, 1771 N. Parham Road, where a service celebrating Ken's life will begin at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 11, 2010 with a Masonic Memorial service, followed by a funeral service. Interment will follow at Greenwood Memorial Gardens with Military Honors. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Shriner's Hospital for Children, P.O.
