Marcia Johnston DeArman

DeArman, Marcia Elizabeth (Johnston) 82, of Henrico, died on October 23, 2020. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy DeArman; her parents, Sylvia B. and Robert A. Johnston; and her brother, Robert B. Johnston. She is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Priscilla and James Guza; and by her nieces, Jennifer Jacobs, Elizabeth Guza, Amy Johnston, and Karen Pizzolato and their respective families; as well as many longtime friends.

Marcia was a retired employee of McGuire Woods where she worked as a paralegal for many years. She travelled internationally in her youth and always enjoyed sharing stories of her rich experiences. Marcia was an ardent animal lover; she contributed to and volunteered with a number of organizations in the area responsible for the welfare of animals.

Marcia's remains will rest at the Virginia Veterans Cemetery in Amelia, Virginia beside her husband, Roy. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the animal advocacy organization of your choice.
