GIBBS, Marion Dicken (Hunt), left us to be with her beloved boy toy, Leonard Gibbs Sr.; and our special Mary. She was born in New York City on January 13, 1923; she was the oldest child of Walter E. Jr. and Alma H. Dicken. At six-months of age, Marion came to the Richmond, Va., and for the last 30 years was a resident of Nags Head, N.C. She is survived by a sister, Virginia Ann (Dicken) Harris of Pawleys Island, S.C.; and an estranged sister, whereabouts unknown; children, Carl Martin Hunt Jr. (Mary) of Fernandina Beach, Fla., Alma Jean Fegley (Myron) of Clayton, N.J., Elva Sue Casker (Donald) of Browns Mills, N.J., Elizabeth Louise Reinhold of Sterling Heights, Mich., Melvin David Hunt of Moseley, Va., Leonard Gibbs Jr. (Fran) of Varina, Va., and a very special son-in-law, Jerry Perry of Valrico, Fla.; 38 grandchildren, 54 great grandchildren, and 10 great-great-grandchildren. As Mom would say too damn many to count but this is our best guess. Words Mom lived by were “hazelnut in your morning coffee, white puffy clouds during the day and bourbon on your ice cream before bed, and don’t forget Tom Selleck.” Services will be held at Woody’s Funeral Home, Parham Road Chapel, 1771 N. Parham Rd., Richmond, Va. 23229. Visitation will be held Thursday, 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. at Forest Lawn Cemetery, 4000 Pilots Ln., Richmond, Va. 23222.
