RITTER, Marjorie Hatch, of Henrico, Va., passed away Sunday, February 4, 2018. She was preceded in death by her brother, John Hatch; and nephew, Randy Hatch. She is survived by her beloved husband of 72 years, Fred Ritter; her children, Richard (Paula) Ritter, Julie (Ricky) Lawson, John (Sheila) Ritter; her grandchildren, Angela McKinney, Diane Wilson, Brittany Santeere and Billy Lawson; 12 great-grandchildren; and a niece and nephew, Susan and Stewart.
Marjorie was an active lifelong member of Saint Stephen's Episcopal Church and Mary Washington College. She was also active in her garden club and various volunteer activities.
A visitation will take place at Woody Funeral Home on Thursday, February 8, 2018, from 6 to 8 p.m. A funeral service will take place at 1 p.m. on Friday, February 9, 2018, Saint Stephen's Episcopal Church. Interment will follow in Greenwood Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Saint Stephen's Episcopal Church Outreach Programs, 6000 Grove Ave., Richmond, Va. 23226.
