Mary Churchill Garter

GARTER, Mary Churchill, 69, of Richmond, passed away Saturday, December 22, 2012. She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur Gray and Helen Smith Garter; sister, Anna Wilson. She is survived by one son, Ronald Benjamin Early Jr. (Lowry); one daughter, Mary Heather Early; and their father, Ronald Benjamin Early; one granddaughter, Mary Collins Early; sisters, Helen Yowell, Betty Jo Meredith, Bonnie Wiginton and Pat Matthews; brothers, A.G. Garter Jr., Lee Garter and John Garter. For the past three years Mary worked with her sister Betty Jo for The Virginia Association of Workers for the Blind. A memorial service will be held 10:30am Friday, December 28, 2012 at West End Presbyterian Church, 9008 Quioccasin Rd., Richmond, Va. 23229.
