Mary Ann Jones

Mary Ann Tatum Jones, 89 of Henrico, passed away on January 26th, 2023. She was born in Greenville, Mississippi but was long time resident of Henrico. She was preceded in death by her loving and devoted husband of 32 years, Richard Foote Jones, parents Troy and Eula Jane Tatum and brother Robert Tatum. Ann is survived by her son, Richard F. Jones Jr. of Midlothian, Virginia, and daughter, Joanna Jones Donati (Mario) and grandson, Christopher Donati of Olive Branch, Mississippi. She was a loving wife, mother and friend and had a fulfilling career as a medical technologist at Hematology and Oncology Associates. She was a docent at The Executive Mansion of Virginia, a faithful longtime member of Trinity United Methodist Church, and active member of Tuckahoe Woman’s Club and The Commonwealth Women's Club. A memorial service and reception will be held at 1 PM on Feb. 6th, 2023 at Trinity United Methodist Church located at 903 Forest Ave, Richmond, VA 23229. There will be a private inurnment at Greenwood Memorial Gardens 12609 Patterson Ave, Richmond, VA 23238 In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Massey Cancer Center at the Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) at PO Box 843042 Richmond, Virginia 23284-3042.
