To God we belong, and to Him we shall ultimately return.

In 1960, Najib married his beloved wife, Namet Shaban, and together they built a life rich in love, family, and happiness. Najib emigrated to this country in 1968 with very little, but alongside his wife, he built a thriving life for their family, instilling in them the values and culture he held dear.
After the passing of his wife, Namet, in 2015, Najib encountered the difficult task of moving forward. Nevertheless, it was the love of his children and grandchildren that provided him with the strength to carry on, allowing him to cherish his family and create new memories together.
Najib is survived by his sons, Hicham Shaban (Amal) and Dr. Danny W. Shaban (May), his daughter Badeha Hamze (Assad), his brothers lzzat Shaban, Khaled Shaban, Farouk Tarabay, and Fahim Tarabay, and his sisters Asma Daou, Leila Aboulhosn, and Ferial Shaban. Najib was a loving, compassionate, and generous father, grandfather, and friend, known for his ability to alleviate stressful situations and serve as the family's trusted problem solver. Together with Namet, he established a strong foundation for their family. It is difficult to mourn Najib without also honoring and celebrating the love shared between him and Namet. Their family will cherish and preserve their memory and legacy.
"A father's guidance may no longer be physically present, but his wisdom echoes in our minds forever and his legacy lives on through the lives he touched and the hearts he loved."
