Nancy was born March 21, 1952 in Orlando, Florida and moved to Richmond, Virginia, in 1962. She received her bachelor’s degree from Virginia Tech and her master’s degree from VCU, and worked at the Virginia Lottery until her retirement in 2019. Nancy was an avid Hokies fan, and loved live music and spending time at the beach with her toes in the sand.
Nancy is survived by her boyfriend, Donnie Perkins and his daughter, Audrianna Perkins; her son, Michael Hutchison (Heather); and grandchildren, Thomas and Maren; daughter, Mary Anne Hutchison; and brother, Donnie Phelps (Cathy) and niece, Leslie Phelps. Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, Don and Ruth Phelps.
A visitation will take place at 2 p.m., an hour prior to the Funeral Service at 3 p.m. on Friday, September 16, 2022, at Woody Funeral Home, Parham Chapel.
